Every year on the coast of the Black Sea in Georgia(the city of Batumi/Kobuleti) the World Folklore and Choreography Competition-Festival takes place «NEW LIFE». The event is held under the auspices of the European Association of Folklore Festivals – EAFF, as well as in conjunction with other festivals and competitions. Almost every region of Georgia participates every year – about 40 ensembles, and 10-20 foreign teams from Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Iran, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Poland and Ukraine. Each separate competition day collected from 500 до 1000 participants. This is a real holiday!

NEW LIFE festival-contest is held in a resort, on the shore of the Black Sea. During their stay on the territory of Georgia, the teams will have the opportunity not only to visit, and see many interesting and picturesque places of our country, get to know Georgian culture.

The city of Batumi

The city of Batumi is one of the most popular meeting places on the Black Sea coast. Old and modern architecture, port, botanical garden and seaside boulevard, colorful squares and streets, a wide selection of selected and well-known brands from this city of modern Georgia. The need for detection, that in 2012 The American Academy of Hospitality named Batumi the best tourist destination of the year. In the second half of the 20th century, foreign European architects worked to give the city a modern look. The development of Batumi is inextricably linked with the economic and industrial period.

City of Kobuleti

The climatic resort of Kobuleti is located on the coast of the Black Sea, northwest of Batumi, at height 5 meters above sea level. The main attraction of the city of Kobuleti, the famous beach of small pebbles. The climate is subtropical, hot summer. The sea bathing season is from May to October. Kobuleti is known for its one of the longest streets on the Black Sea coast, in which there are hotels of different service levels and beaches. Most of Kobuleti's beaches are sandy or pebbly.
