COMPETITION-FESTIVAL “NEW LIFE”

World competition-festival New Life is a cultural and artistic event, Children's and youth creative teams are invited to participate in the program, as well as individual performers from 5 years and older in nominations: choreography, vocalist, instrumental genre, theater tree, pantomime, photo creativity, painters.

Nominations of the competition-festival:

  • Children's dance
  • Classical dance
  • Folk dance, folk stage dance, folk stylized dance
  • Modern choreography (jazz dance, afro-jazz, broadway jazz, jazz fashions, jazz-folk, modern dance, contemporary dance).
  • Ball choreography
  • Street dance (hip-hop, break-dance, dance hall, jazz-funk, cramps)
  • Oriental dance
  • Pop dance (dance show, disco)
  • Sports dance
  • Free dance category

The direction of the choreography must be specified in the application! Soloists, small forms (to 4 persons) submitted to the competition 1 number in any genre up to 2-3 minutes, performing groups to 3-4 minutes.

Soloists, small forms to 4 persons, collectives of performers present one number in any genre for the competition with a duration of up to 4 minutes.

All works are performed to a "minus" phonogram or "live" accompaniment. The use of "backing vocals" phonograms is allowed. DOUBLE vocals are not allowed (instrumental or vocal dubbing of the main part).

  • Vocal and choreographic composition. One competition number. Duration to 4-5 minutes.
  1. Instrumental genre – national, classic, jazz, ensembles of percussion instruments, ensembles of guitarists, jazz style ensembles, chamber orchestras, orchestras of accordionists and accordionists, ensembles of folk instruments, vocal and instrumental ensembles.
  • Piano;
  • Wind and percussion instruments (tube, oboe, clarinet…);
  • Folk instruments (rich, accordion, guitar, string-pinch, dombri…);
  • Stringy – bowed (violin, alt, cello, contrabass…);
  • Pop instruments (electric guitar, electric bass guitar, keyboard, percussion, shock installation), rock bands.

  • 3 – 5 years;
  • 6 – 7 years;
  • 8 – 10 years;
  • 11 – 13 years;
  • 14 – 16 years;
  • 17 – 25 years;

  • mixed (indicate the age of the participants)

Evaluation criteria:

  • Executive skill
  • Movement technique
  • Composite construction of the number
  • Scenicness/plasticity, suit, props, performance culture
  • The complexity of the repertoire
  • Correspondence of the repertoire to the performance capabilities and age category of the performer
  • Selection and matching of musical and choreographic material
  • Artistry, revealing the artistic image
  • The degree of mastery of the instrument
  • Technical possibilities of ensemble performance
  • Artistic interpretation of a musical work
  • Technical capabilities of performers
  • Artistic design of the program, props.

Awarding of participants:

  • Grand Prix The international competition is awarded with a cup and a diploma for the team, medals for solo participants.
  • Laureates I, II and III degrees receive a cup and a diploma for the team, medals for solo participants.
  • Acknowledgments teachers, managers, choreographers for preparation and participation in the competition.
  • The prize of audience sympathy.
  • All participants of the competition receive diplomas and medals.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to award individual teams CERTIFICATES PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION IN GEORGIA ON FAVORABLE TERMS (Batumi) in June-July 2023 year.

The jury has the right:

  • Provide recommendations to contest participants.
  • To single out individual performers and award them with special prizes.
  • By agreement with the organizing committee, make a decision on changing the status of the festival, or not to award participants with prizes in the nomination.

The evaluation takes place on a 10-point scale. The decision on the distribution of prizes and the Grand Prix is ​​determined by the total number of points of all members of the jury. The jury has the right not to award the Grand Prix due to a lack of sufficient points. The Jury's decision is final and not subject to review.

Application form, technical requirements:

To participate in the contest-festival, it is necessary to submit an application together with a QUALITY soundtrack.

Letters of thanks to teachers, to the heads of artistic amateur activities for preparation and participation in the festival-competition, we ask you to order together with the submission of applications. Be sure to include all the details for the thank you.

Confirmation of participation in the festival-competition:

To participate in the festival, you must submit an application in the electronic version. Applications are being submitted to 17.11.2022 r. to the address of the organizing committee of the competition-festival.

  1. After 17.11.2022 r. applications will be accepted UPON REQUEST.
  1. The payment schedule of the organizers is sent in the confirmation after the application is submitted.
  1. The organizing committee promotes accommodation in hotels 3-4 stars of the participants and their accompanying persons from other cities of Ukraine, from other countries (at the expense of the institution, that directs, or at your own expense), organizes a cultural program for contestants.

In the case of, if it is necessary to prepare letters of thanks, addressed to partners, sponsors, managers send official data to the organizing committee in advance.

Contest participants, arrive accompanied by parents and managers, who are responsible for the life and health of children. Managers, parents and adults, accompanying children, are independently responsible for the safekeeping of personal valuables, costumes and props, are attentive to the preservation of property during performances on any platforms, where the event is taking place, and on the territory of hotels where they live during the festival-competition. In case of damage caused by team members, head, parents and accompanying adults pay for the damage caused by the administration of the premises, that has claims.
